Field Trip: Capt. William Fitzgerald Recreation and Conservation Area / Bay Bridge Landing Wetland Park, Brunswick

We’ll explore these two Town-owned properties for early spring migrants. The “Fitzgerald Preserve” is one of the few sandplain grasslands remaining in Maine. Expect a wide variety of spring migrants in the woodlands, fields, and wild rice flats of this diverse State Wildlife Management Area.
