We’ll explore these two Town-owned properties for early migrants. The “Fitzgerald Preserve” is one of the few sandplain grasslands remaining in Maine. We’ll walk easy, sandy paths (up to 2 miles) exploring this unusual natural area. Fol- lowing, we’ll visit the nearby Bay Bridge Landing Wetland Park on the Androscoggin River.
