Field Trip: Kate Furbish Preserve (West), Brunswick

We will search for Fall land migrants, as well as shorebirds in Harpswell Cove. Expect to walkeasy paths on former Navy security roads (up to 2.5 miles total). Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the trailhead off Merriconeag Road in Brunswick Landing across from the golf course clubhouse. There is limited parking (up to six cars) off Merriconeag Road – other parking is located in a small lot where Merriconeag Road joins Harpswell Road (Rt. 123). Do not park in the golf course parking lot.

The outdoor guidelines/restrictions of the Covid-19 of the Maine and/or federal CDC in effect at the time of the event will be followed. At the time of this writing, there are no outdoor COVID restrictions for field trip participants.
However, if you have any symptoms of illness, please stay home.
