Field Trip: Chase Reserve/Calderwood Preserve, Brunswick/Freeport

Maine Bird Atlas Breeding Survey—
Participate in a citizen science project to survey breeding birds. We will walk easy trails (up to 3 miles total) along these two neighboring preserves along the border between Brunswick and Freeport, looking and listening for breeding birds. Windy and/or rainy weather conditions will cause this event to be cancelled. Meet at the Chase Reserve parking area off Bunganuc Rd., just before the Freeport town line, at 6:30 a.m. FMI Gordon Smith at 725-0282.
