Program: Avian Haven – A Bird’s Rehabilitation Journey

Avian Haven, located in Freedom, Maine, is dedicated to the rehabilitation and care of injured and orphaned wild birds with the goal of returning them to their natural habitats. Barb Haney, Executive Director, and Wesley Hutchins, Admissions Assistant, will share what they do and why, the history, mission and operations of Avian Haven, and how we can help. Barb and Wesley will also recount A Bird’s Rehabilitation Journey, following a barred owl’s journey from injury—to admit—to release.
