Field Trip: Morse Mountain/Seawall Beach, Phippsburg

Maine Bird Atlas Breeding Bird Survey—
Participate in a citizen science project to survey breeding birds. We will walk this 600-acre conservation area on a private road and beach (up to 6 miles total). The road to the beach has steep up and down sections, but we will take our time looking and listening for breeding birds. You are free to participate all day (bring a lunch), or turn back at any time. Windy and/or rainy weather conditions will cause this event to be cancelled. Meet at the east end of the Bath Shopping Center, across from McDonald’s at 6:30 a.m., or at the Morse Mountain parking lot off Rt. 216 in Phippsburg at 7:00 a.m. FMI Gordon Smith at 725-0282.
