DESCRIPTION:Bobolinks and meadowlarks are two of the most charismatic and iconic species of our grasslands. They\, along with other grassland species\, have suffered the steepest losses of North American birds in recent decades\, facing threats on several fronts simultaneously. SUMMARY:Guided Bird Walk: Reid State Park\, Georgetown
DESCRIPTION:Reid State Park is a magnificent site in early spring. We’ll search for all manner of coastal waterbirds\, including scoters\, grebes and loons\, as well as sanderlings and purple sandpipers. Walking the beach to Todd’s Point is optional but often worth the effort.
