DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY\, JUNE 4\,\n7:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. \n  \nWe’ll explore these two Town-owned\nproperties for early spring migrants.\nThe “Fitzgerald Preserve” is one of the\nfew sandplain grasslands remaining\nin Maine. We’ll walk easy sandy paths\n(up to 2 miles) exploring this unusual\nnatural area. Following\, we’ll visit the\nnearby Bay Bridge Landing Wetland\nPark on the Androscoggin River.\nMeet at 7:00 a.m. at the iron gate\nat the end of Lindbergh Crossing\nRoad (off Old Bath Road)\, 1.3 miles\nnortheast of the Bath Road/Old Bath\nRoad intersection. Turn\nleft onto New Meadows Road and go\nstraight ahead to the traffic signal at\nBath Road. Proceed across Bath Rd.\nonto Foster’s Point Rd. and follow it\nnearly to the end. You will see the\nSanctuary sign and a parking area on\nthe right.
