DESCRIPTION:This program is geared for 3rdâ€“6th grade beginning birders\, with their parents. Participants will have the opportunity to observe resident summer birds and other nature sights\, and to have the birds light upon a feeding tray held by the childrenâ€™s gloved hands. \nPre-registration is required and limited to 8 children per session. Meet at the Hamilton Sanctuary parking area at 7:30 a.m. FMI to register\, contact Glenn Evans or Marianne Warner at 443-9652 or e-mail: warnerevans20@yahoo.com. \nHamilton Sanctuary lies along Foster Point Road in West Bath\, a little over 3 miles from the Foster Point Road/State Road intersection. It offers visitors 2.5 miles of well-maintained trails thanks to the help of a volunteer stewardship committee.
