Field Trip: Waterfowl of Bowdoinham 04/14/2019

jstorm

Twenty four birders lead by Gordon Smith attended with most of the group meeting at Mailly Park in Bowdoinham. The numbers of waterfowl were somewhat less than we usually find at these locations a few weeks earlier. However, over 20 species (waterfowl and other birds) were observed at each of three locations in Bowdoinham. For those who met to carpool in Brunswick, the highlight of the trip was a flock of about thirty Bohemian Waxwings seen feeding in a crabapple tree on Maine Street, Brunswick a few minutes after leaving the meeting point.
